Susan B. Anthony was born in 1820 in Adams, Massachusetts. Her father was a Quaker, and her mother was a devout Baptist. Susan was raised in a religious household, and she learned the importance of equality and justice from a young age.

In the 1840s, Susan B. Anthony began to work as a teacher. She was appalled by the discrimination that women faced in the workplace. Women were paid less than men for the same work, and they were often denied the opportunity to advance in their careers.

In 1851, Susan B. Anthony met Elizabeth Cady Stanton, another prominent feminist. Together, they founded the National Woman Suffrage Association, which fought for the right of women to vote.

Susan B. Anthony was a tireless advocate for women's rights. She traveled the country, giving speeches and organizing protests. She was arrested several times for her activism, but she never gave up.

In 1872, Susan B. Anthony made history when she voted in the presidential election. Her act of defiance was a powerful symbol of the women's suffrage movement.

Susan B. Anthony died in 1906, but her legacy lives on. She is considered one of the most important figures in the history of women's rights. Her work helped to pave the way for the 19th Amendment, which granted women the right to vote in 1920.

Susan B. Anthony was a visionary leader who dedicated her life to the fight for equality. Her courage and determination inspire us all to stand up for what we believe in.
