The Inside Story Of Cia Plots Against Castro, Kennedy, And Che
CIA Plots Against Fidel Castro
The Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) has a long history of involvement in Cuba, dating back to the overthrow of the Batista government in 1959. In the years since, the CIA has been involved in a number of plots to assassinate Fidel Castro, the leader of the Cuban Revolution.
One of the most famous of these plots was Operation Mongoose, which was launched in 1961. Operation Mongoose was a wide-ranging campaign of sabotage and assassination attempts against Castro and his government. The CIA recruited Cuban exiles to carry out these attacks, and provided them with weapons, training, and financial support.

Operation Mongoose was ultimately unsuccessful, and Castro remained in power. However, the CIA continued to plot against him, and in 1963, they came close to assassinating him with a poisoned cigar.
In the years since, the CIA has been involved in a number of other plots against Castro, including a plan to poison his food and a plan to shoot him with a sniper rifle. However, none of these plots have been successful.
CIA Plots Against John F. Kennedy
The CIA has also been accused of being involved in a plot to assassinate President John F. Kennedy. This accusation was first made in the 1970s, and has been investigated by a number of government and independent commissions.
The evidence for CIA involvement in Kennedy's assassination is inconclusive. However, there are a number of suspicious circumstances surrounding the assassination, including the fact that the CIA had a motive to kill Kennedy and that several CIA agents were involved in the plot to kill him.
The CIA has denied any involvement in Kennedy's assassination. However, the agency has been accused of covering up its involvement in the assassination, and there are a number of reasons to believe that the CIA may have been involved.
CIA Plots Against Che Guevara
The CIA was also involved in a plot to assassinate Che Guevara, the legendary Cuban revolutionary. Guevara was killed in Bolivia in 1967, and the CIA has been accused of being involved in his death.
The evidence for CIA involvement in Guevara's death is more substantial than the evidence for CIA involvement in Kennedy's assassination. The CIA had a motive to kill Guevara, and several CIA agents were involved in the plot to kill him.
The CIA has denied any involvement in Guevara's death. However, there are a number of reasons to believe that the CIA may have been involved.
