I spent 30 years with the Forest Service, and I saw a lot of changes. The agency has always been a leader in conservation, but in recent years it has faced new challenges, including climate change, wildfire, and a growing population.

Wildfire

Growing Population

The population of the United States is growing, and this is putting increasing pressure on our forests. More people are using our forests for recreation, and this can lead to damage to the environment.
