Amazing Adventures as Naturalist, Conservationist, and Explorer
From the rainforests of the Amazon to the mountains of Nepal, and the deserts of Africa, I have been fortunate to have experienced a lifetime of adventures as a naturalist, conservationist, and explorer. I have had the privilege of working with some of the world's leading scientists and conservationists, and I have witnessed firsthand the incredible beauty and diversity of our planet.
Growing Up in Nature
I grew up in a small town in the Midwest, and I spent most of my childhood exploring the woods and fields around my home. I was fascinated by the natural world and I loved learning about the different plants and animals that I encountered.

When I was in high school, I had the opportunity to go on a trip to the Amazon rainforest with my family. This trip changed my life. I was amazed by the incredible diversity of life in the rainforest, and I was inspired by the work of the conservationists who were working to protect this fragile ecosystem.
Becoming a Naturalist
After graduating from high school, I went on to college to study biology. I was drawn to the field of natural history, and I spent much of my time studying the plants and animals of the local area. I also volunteered with a local conservation organization, and I helped to restore a nearby wetland.
After graduating from college, I worked as a naturalist for a state park. I led hikes and nature walks, and I taught visitors about the local flora and fauna. I also worked on a variety of conservation projects, including a project to restore a native prairie.
Exploring the World
In my early thirties, I decided to quit my job and travel the world. I wanted to see the different ecosystems of the world, and I wanted to learn about the cultures of different countries. I traveled to over 50 countries on six continents.
I had some amazing adventures during my travels. I climbed mountains, trekked through rainforests, and explored deserts. I saw some of the most beautiful and remote places on Earth.
Working with Conservationists
During my travels, I met many inspiring conservationists. I learned about the challenges they faced, and I was impressed by their dedication to protecting the natural world.
I began to work with a number of conservation organizations, including the World Wildlife Fund, the Nature Conservancy, and the Rainforest Alliance. I helped to raise funds for conservation projects, and I worked to raise awareness about the importance of protecting the natural world.
My Mission
I believe that we have a responsibility to protect the natural world. We are all part of a web of life, and the health of our planet depends on the health of its ecosystems.
I am committed to using my voice and my experiences to raise awareness about the importance of conservation. I want to inspire people to care about the natural world, and I want to help to create a more sustainable future for our planet.
I have been fortunate to have a lifetime of amazing adventures as a naturalist, conservationist, and explorer. I have seen some of the most beautiful and remote places on Earth, and I have worked with some of the world's leading scientists and conservationists. I am grateful for the opportunity to have made a difference in the world, and I am committed to continuing to work to protect the natural world for future generations.
